Launched in 2013, ISARA stands out as a multidimensional adjustable premium quality baby carrier with innovative features made with 100% Organic fabrics.
ISARA V3 is adjustable in height and in length, so that it always gives the perfect fit for the little one. Just right. Every time.
ISARA V3 standard size is suitable for wearing babies from 1 month (4 kg / 8.8 lbs) up to 4-5 years (20 kg, 44lbs).
ISARA V3 toddler size is suitable for wearing babies from 8-10 months (8 kg / 17 lbs) up to 4-5 years ( 20 kg / 44 lbs).
* All solid-colour wrap conversions are made from Colimacon & Cie wraps and all pattern wrap conversions are made from Isara wraps.
The innovative panel of the standard size can be adjusted from 31 cm (12 inch) up to 45 cm (18 inch). The innovative panel of the toddler size can be adjusted from 39 (15,5 inch) cm to 50 cm (20 inch). The body of the carrier can be adjusted, lowered or raised, on both sides, or asymmetrically. When raised, it provides support for the child`s head, needed especially for small babies. If the baby falls asleep in the carrier, the panel can be extended for more support or privacy. Also, the adjustable panel makes it even easier to breastfeed, anywhere, anytime, only by manipulating the straps of the panel.
For toddlers, who might like to stay with their hands out of the carrier, you can adjust both webbings and ensure a lower panel.
The seat adjusts, inch by inch, always ensuring the ergonomic position. The standard size can be narrowed from 38 cm (15 inch) to 26 cm (10 inch). The toddler size can be narrowed from 45 cm (18 inch) to 35 cm (14 inch).
The innovative adjustment process of the seating involves opening the hook and the loop of the velcro situated on both lateral sides of the backside of the waist belt and sliding slowly towards the center of the waistbelt, as much as necessary. Once adjusted, the seat of the carrier will be firmly fixed using high quality velcro, in order to obtain optimum ergonomic position. The adjustments are durable, easy to make, and the result is the anatomically correct ”M seat” position of the baby and a comfortable, perfect fit. These innovations are much more important as it gives the possibility to wear small babies, without an insert.
ISARA V3 includes, besides the innovative seating and panel, a lot of features for comfort (no buckles touch de skin, padded shoulder straps, arm and leg paddings, adjustable and removable connection strap, adjustable and removable hood, organic fabrics), for safety ( elastic band in case of accidental opening of the buckles, high quality materials) and for a neat look (posibility to roll up excess webbing).
There are numerous adjustments that can be made, so that every person can adapt the carrier to his needs.
The body of the carrier can be lowered or raised, on both sides or even asymmetrically, in order to provide head support for newborn or extra care while sleeping or discretion while breastfeeding.
The buckles on the shoulder straps can be used to loosen the carrier making breastfeeding easy.
The chest strap, located between the shoulder straps, prevents the straps from sliding off the shoulder. It can be adjusted up or down on the webbing of the shoulder strap, so that the proper height can be chosen for front or back carrying, and can also be completely removed.
There are several additional settings for extra comfort: extra leg padding, broaded and padded shoulder straps, elastic bands to keep straps looking neat.
The waist belt is filled with memory foam for extra comfort.

3. Is ISARA an ergonomic baby carrier?
The International Hip Dysplasia Institute certifies ISARA baby carriers and stretchy wraps to be ergonomic and hip healthy. ISARA favors the normal growth of the physiological curves of the spine (cervical lordosis , dorsal kyphosis, and lumbar lordosis) and keeps baby's legs bent and spread apart, following the position recommended for the prevention and treatment of hip dysplasia.
4. Is ISARA tested according to Safety Standards?
ISARA soft structured carriers are tested and certified according to ASTM Safety Standards and European Normatives of Safety. Your baby`s safety is extremely important which is why ISARA considered it a must to make sure that everything is safe and in place, from every stitch to every embodied detail.
Large costs and time investments were involved in making sure your baby is safe to be carried in ISARA.
ISARA has studied each feature, one at the time. A good support for baby's head, neck, and back at all ages was a major factor they wanted to accomplish. The deep seat and the knee to knee coverage were another factor that we have found extremely important for your child`s safe position into the carrier. High quality buckles were added and the webbing, woven especially for ISARA, does not unravel.
The instructional literature is rich and extremely detailed, doubled by videos that show and explain step by step how to properly adjust ISARA for a safe carry.
In the testing protocol, numerous fall and suffocation hazards were tested, and ISARA passed them all. At ISARA you will not find sharp edges or corners and no detachable parts are potentially edible. The locks are solid and the fabrics are not flammable. The elastic found at the hood cannot be extended to potential suffocation hazard. The leg openings are wide enough for a comfortable wear yet not a potential risk for fall hazard.
5. In what country is it made in? Where are the ISARA products made?
ISARA is entirely made in Romania, Europe, with love and dedication, in a friendly, full of positive energy environment.
6. What type of materials are being used?
Using only high quality materials was their priority. A large amount of investment was made in finding the best quality materials, from fabrics to the buckles and straps. The buckles and velcros are supplied by the world`s most prestigious brands, recognized even in the automotive industry for reliability and endurance. Additional elastic bands were added for more safety, memory foam for your comfort, and the webbing was specially woven for us and does not unravel.

20. How can I be sure I placed the baby correctly into the carrier?
When you’re wearing a sling or carrier, don’t forget the T.I.C.K.S. (copyright credits: UK Sling Consortium) and Health Canada's Kissable and Visible. Visit our information pages on our website or our blog for detailed articles on safety and positioning!
TIGHT – slings and carriers should be tight enough to hug your baby close to you as this will be most comfortable for you both. Any slack/loose fabric will allow your baby to slump down in the carrier which can hinder their breathing and pull on your back.
IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES – you should always be able to see your baby’s face by simply glancing down. The fabric of a sling or carrier should not close around them so you have to open it to check on them. In a cradle position your baby should face upwards not be turned in towards your body.
CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS – your baby’s head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. By tipping your head forward you should be able to kiss your baby on the head or forehead.
KEEP CHIN OFF THE CHEST – a baby should never be curled so their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict their breathing. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under your baby’s chin.
SUPPORTED BACK – in an upright carry a baby should be held comfortably close to the wearer so their back is supported in its natural position and their tummy and chest are against you. If a sling is too loose they can slump which can partially close their airway. (This can be tested by placing a hand on your baby’s back and pressing gently - they should not uncurl or move closer to you.) A baby in a cradle carry in a pouch or ring sling should be positioned carefully with their bottom in the deepest part so the sling does not fold them in half pressing their chin to their chest
21. My baby likes to be carried facing forward. What do I do?
ISARA does not provide you the possibility for forward facing, but a good alternative with ergonomic benefits would be the hip carry when baby has reached the milestone to be safely carried on the hip.
ISARA can be easily adjusted for hip carry. You can watch a step by step guide here: http://bit.ly/adjustISARA
22. How do I know I have adjusted the panel at the right height for a proper head and back support?
The proper height should cover your baby`s back and his neck, especially when the baby does not have a full control over his head.
Based on your baby`s needs, the body of the carrier can be adjusted, lowered or raised, on both sides, or asymmetrically. When raised, it provides support for the child`s head, needed especially for small babies. If the baby falls asleep in the carrier, the panel can be extended for more support or privacy.
For toddlers, who might like to stay with their hands out of the carrier, you can adjust both webbings and ensure a lower panel.
23. How do I know I have adjusted the seat to the right dimensions?
As a general rule, the baby carrier should fit from knee to knee, without an overextension of his legs. ISARA will grow along with your child, so you can enlarge the carrier, millimeter by millimeter, just as much as needed. Before adjusting the carrier for the first time you can measure your child s leg opening so that you know how much it is needed.
24. Where should I place the waist belt?
A proper positioning of the waist belt should be parallel to the ground. Avoid placing it on different heights from the back to the front. If something feels uncomfortable, maybe this is the reason. By placing it correctly, the baby's weight will be perfectly distributed between your shoulders and your hips.
25. I find the chest strap uncomfortable. Am I doing something wrong?
The connection belt is easily removable from the shoulder straps, giving you the possibility to place it wherever it feels comfortable. This way you can get the proper comfortable height for every carrying position. Also, you can just try a front carry with crossed shoulder straps. Remove the connection belt and get the stylish, neat look you have always wanted.
26. How can I protect the shoulder straps from my baby`s teething habits?
You can prolong the life of your carrier by matching ISARA with teething pads! The shoulder straps are one of the mostly touched parts of the carrier, also accessible to child`s teething habits when they tend to chew and bite. When they get dirty (and they will!), just remove them, give them a little wash and put them back on.
