Baltic amber teething necklaces are worn by teething babies to help alleviate the pains and discomforts of teething. Body warmth heats the amber which then slowly releases oils that are absorbed through the skin. These oils act as a natural analgesic, a great alternative to any medicinal treatments for teething pains.
The amber beads are rounded so will not cause your baby any discomfort. The strands are knotted between each bead as an added benefit, so that in the event of breakage, all the beads are not lost. There is an amber screw closure which make for a safe, strong, and decorative closure. The necklaces are meant to be worn against the skin, and can be worn by young babies, all throughout the teething period. The necklaces are available in two lengths: 32 cm (recommended for young babies) and 38 cm (for older children), in four colours: cognac, honey, lemon and mixed amber pieces. Each necklace is sent in a small cotton pouch. There is also the options of upgrading to a vegetable-tanned leather pouch.
