I love my Keeper
I have been using the Keeper for 10 years and it's time to get a new one. It has become my friend. I am lost without it! It was actually still working fine at the end of 10 years, just the tail was starting to get weak, probly about to go soon. I can't believe I lost it in a public loo! Anyway, it is a great product. I have a septic tank so it's great not having to put tampons in the garbage. I empty the cup twice (max 3 times) a day on heavy days, and go all day on lighter days, just emptying at bedtime and in the morning. I can wipe it out with toilet paper when I have to in public loos, though it's best to use a private washroom with sink, to rinse it out. Your fingers get a bit bloody so it's hard to do up your clothes in a stall. Also the smell of the blood can be bad on heavy days when emptying it in public loos, so I still use tampons on those days, when I'm in public. There is no smell when it's in place. It only leaks when it's full, or if it isn't sitting properly, which you get a handle for with practice. You should squeeze the air out and turn it a few times when it's in place to get it snug. It's very natural, very comfortable (I trimmed the tail a few millimeters), and very economical! It works for my lifestyle and budget and environmental sensibilities! Hooray for the Keeper!
