Skin Care You Can Feel

The DRUIDE story started in 1979 in the Appalachian Mountains of Quebec when its founder became intreigued by how local plants could produce such wonderful skin care products. Experimentation and dillegence led to what we see here today in DRUIDE products, a full line of ecological body care.

The beauty of Druids is that it's safe - for your body, and for the environment. They don't use excessive packaging, and they don't use conventional advertising in the media. The company is also commited to a serious regiment of organic and safe standards. Here are a few:

~Products are not obtained by pure chemical synthesis (i.e. no sodium lauryl or laureth sulfates, parabens, petroleum, mineral oils, propylene glycol, etc.).

~Priority is given to the use of organically grown or wild crafted ingredients that do not disturb ecosystems or degrade the environment.

~They do not use dangerous or litigious processes, including Deterpenation, ethoxylation, bleaching, irradiation, sulphonation, genetic manipulations (GMO), disinfection using ethylene oxide, use of mercury (soda and mercury potash).

~No animal testing on raw material or finished goods. Period.

~They use no excessive packaging. They use only recyclable plastic material without labels; No use of PVC, and Organic ingredients and finished goods will not come into contact with non-organic or non-ecological elements while being transported.

Erbaviva

Erbaviva started in 1996, it's originators wanting to offer mommies-to-be and babies upscale products completely free from all harsh detergents, chemical fragrances, and other unhealthy additives.

Erbaviva products are freshly made with loving care through all stages of production at their own facility, starting with the quality of their organic essential oils. The oils are sourced from around the world from the finest growers and distillers, and often their suppliers are small farms who have worked for generations to make the optimum essential oil they can make.

All of their creams have naturally derived wheat bran, including their sunscreen - probably the lightest, most effective natural sunscreen available. Their raw ingredients include organic oats, organic milk , organic lavender flowers, and organic echinacea, all of which have pretty extraordinary stories on how they are sourced.

Because there is no organic standard for skin care products, those products must meet the same organic requirements that food products go through. Erbaviva is proud to be one of the few skin care producers to carry the USDA certified organic seal. This means their ingredients, the facility, and the process their products go through meet the stringent National Organic Program standards.

Products carrying the USDA seal contain 95% or more USDA certified organic ingredients. However, Erbaviva takes it one step further and only labels their products "organic" on the front label if it contains more than 99% certified organic ingredients. They also state on the back labels specifically which of the ingredients are organic.
