Nursing in a Wrap

When you are ready to nurse (and baby is snugly wrapped on you), untie the tails of the wrap and while holding the tails in your hands, gently bounce. As the wrap loosens, baby will lower down to the perfect spot to nurse. Once baby is in just the right spot, tie the tails again. Many babies have their own preference for position, but you can gently shift and re-position your baby into a cradle position or upright, if preferred. Depending on your shirt, you can either pull up the bottom of the shirt (bonus: in most nursing carries the wrap will still cover your exposed back and side), slightly unbutton a button down shirt and shift it to the side, or you can pull down a lower cut neckline and "pop" over the top. The front of your wrap keeps you discreetly covered, so no worries about baby yanking your shirt or moving to leave you flashing a crowd. Once your little one is finished, simply untie the tails and while pulling them taunt, bounce again until the wrap is snug and baby is high and tight once more.
