All Cotton Up to 60C Normal or gentle Yes, on low - Use only liquid detergent, with no optical brighteners.
- May shrink slightly if put in dryer.*
Linen Up to 90C (but hot temperatures may fade colour) Normal or gentle Yes, on low - Use only liquid detergent, with no optical brighteners (especially important for this blend).
- Linen can tolerate higher heats without much shrinkage.
Hemp Up to 90C Normal or gentle Yes, on low - Use only liquid detergent, with no optical brighteners (especially important for this blend!).
- Hemp is a very hardy fibre that will not shrink, and is very strong, even when wet.
Wool 30C Hand wash/soak only No, hang to dry - Wool is very delicate when wet – never spin in washer, or wring out – squeeze out water gently.
- Sudden temperature changes will felt wool – make sure wash water is cool or room temp, not cold.
- Use a wool detergent (one with a touch of lanolin will keep wool supple), or fine fabric wash.
Silk 30C Hand wash only No, hang to dry, out of direct sunlight - Use only fine fabric wash.
- Do not spin in washer or wring out.
- Add vinegar to the final rinse.
- Never use any type of bleaching agent.
- Do not spray water on wrap while ironing.

*Please note that ALL DIDYMOS wraps are cut a bit long to allow for some shrinkage.
