Place child on back using
prefered method. Spread wrap
across child’s back, with the middle of the wrap at the middle of
child’s
back. |
Check that the bottom rail of the wrap
is securely under child’s bum. The top rail can be
either under child’s arms or at or above child’s
neck. |
Pull
both sides of wrap under each arm, making sure the upper and lower rails
stay snug and give a twist. |

|

|
|
|
Tie once over chest above breasts. |
Lift one side of wrap over same shoulder as it is hanging on. |
Pull wrap straight across back getting the
upper rail just under child's armpit. |

|

|

|
| Once
across child's back, spread the wrap across the bum and snug both upper
and lower rails. |
Holding
wrap under child's bum with one hand use other to pull wrap under child's
leg. *Repeat
the last 4 steps for other side.* |
Twist both sides
of wrap, bounce while pulling straight out to snug up the child into
the wrap. |

|

|

|
| Hold
one side of wrap between knees while working with other side. |
Pull
side of wrap that you are working with across chest to opposite side
and
tuck under the lower portion of piece tied across chest. It will be the
piece going toward your underarm that you will be tucking into. |
Repeat for opposite
side. |

|

|

|
|
You
will now have an X, this will be the cross seat for the child in front.
|
Lift child into
a high "burping" position and insert leg opposite the shoulder you have
them lifted onto. |
Bring
child down and into other side of X with the other leg. |

|

|

|
| Spread the under
side of X first as wide as you can. |
Spread upper side
of X over child's bum again as wide as you can. Think of spreading from
child's knee to knee. |
To tighten wrap,
hold each side of wrap up at an angle and bounce while giving a tug. |

|
 |
|
| Tie wrap across
chest in a square knot. |
